Vendor End Features
Fee Applicable for Product Uploads
When the admin selects Product for fee applicability, the Product Approval Required setting in the marketplace configuration will automatically be set to YES. On the front end, vendors will need to pay a fee for each product they upload. After adding a product, the vendor will be redirected to PayPal to complete the payment.
Once the payment is successfully processed, the product will be approved and made live.
- Vendors must pay a fee to the admin for each product upload.
- Payment is processed through PayPal, with automatic redirection.
- Transaction details will be listed under the Your Membership tab.
Vendor Membership and Product Listing Fee Management
With the Vendor Membership and Product Listing Fee Management extension, admins can define vendor-specific membership plans. Admins can set the number of products allowed, membership duration, and choose a fee type — fixed or percentage. Fees can be applied based on time, product count, or both.
- If vendors exceed the allowed product count, they must renew or upgrade their membership to continue adding products.
- Admins have full control to configure fees, product limits, and durations, ensuring a flexible and scalable vendor management system.

Configuration
To configure the Magento 2 Multi Vendor Membership extension, log into Magento 2 admin panel, and go to Stores > Configuration > MAVENBIRD - MULTIVENDOR > Multivendor Membership, and configure the following settings for the extension:

- Enable Extension: Yes/No toggle to enable or disable the multivendor membership extension globally.
- Sandbox Mode: Yes/No option to enable test mode for PayPal transactions. Helpful for testing without real payments.
- Admin PayPal Account Email: Enter the admin’s PayPal account email to receive vendor payments.
- Vendor Commission: Set the commission amount or percentage taken from each vendor transaction.
- Commission Applicable For: Choose the entity where the commission will apply. Options might include Product, Category, etc.
- Fee Calculation Type: Decide how vendor fees are calculated: Fixed: A constant amount per transaction, Percentage: A percentage of the product price.
- Vendor Transaction Success Template: Select the email or notification template that gets sent on a successful transaction.
