Challenge
Modernizing Legacy LMS Infrastructure for Scalable, Standards-Compliant Training Delivery
ClickSafety’s existing digital infrastructure needed a strategic overhaul to support the growing complexity of enterprise training delivery and ensure compliance with ANSI/IACET 1-2018 standards. The legacy LMS lacked modularity, had limited support for SCORM/xAPI content interoperability, and exhibited performance bottlenecks under concurrent user loads. The absence of granular user access controls and extensible reporting mechanisms impeded administrative efficiency and enterprise scalability. Additionally, the front-end architecture was not fully optimized for mobile devices, leading to inconsistent user experiences across platforms. To align with its CEU accreditation requirements, ClickSafety also required automated tracking and audit-ready reporting of learner engagement and course completions, as well as seamless eCommerce integration for B2B and B2C transactions.

Solution
End-to-End LMS Modernization with Scalable Microservices Architecture
We executed a full-scale LMS optimization and Adobe Commerce integration with a microservices-informed architecture to enable scalability, performance, and interoperability. Leveraging SCORM Cloud and xAPI support, we ensured dynamic content delivery and standardized tracking across all learning modules. The platform's user management system was re-engineered with role-based access control (RBAC), supporting organizational hierarchies and enterprise-level permissions.
A fully responsive, component-based front-end was developed using modern JavaScript frameworks to improve cross-device usability and reduce DOM reflow issues, resulting in lower time-to-interactive (TTI) scores. Custom CEU tracking modules were implemented to log learning events in real time, enabling administrators to generate ANSI/IACET-compliant reports through a secure analytics dashboard
We also integrated Stripe and PayPal via PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways, enhanced the eCommerce layer with bulk enrollment, SKU bundling, and auto-assignment workflows, and deployed asynchronous job handling to scale checkout and enrollment operations under high-load conditions.
