BACKGROUND

At American Plant Exchange, they have a diverse family of employees from many different countries and backgrounds. They work closely with the community, providing job opportunities for a local women’s work release program, people with disabilities, and migrant workers.

Their goal is to provide shoppers with a stunning array of houseplants to choose from, as well as excellent customer service. They hand select each plant at the nursery before it is shipped and always stand behind their products.

Their team works hard every day to hand select and carefully pack a large variety of beautiful indoor and outdoor plants for all of their customers.

They grow and source high standard plant products for their customers and offer a rigorous quality control process that ensures their name stands behind the product and services their customers receive.

What is really important to the owners is that over the years their business has grown to include three generations of family members, offering opportunities to people with disabilities, working closely with their migrant workers, and recently working one on one with a women’s work release program offering opportunities to women transitioning to the workforce.

They take a great deal of pride in their community and support various causes through donations like their kid’s bike giveaway. These values are important to them and guide their goal of providing customers with that quality plant they have been looking for.
