Job Description
We are seeking a Shopify Developer with 1-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Shopify, Shopify Plus, jQuery, HTML, JavaScript, and Shopify theme development. This role involves working on custom Shopify themes, improving UX/UI design, developing third-party apps, and ensuring smooth integration with marketing tools and Shopify APIs.
Responsibilities
- Develop Shopify Stores: Create highly engaging, revenue-driven Shopify stores using both custom and pre-existing templates.
- Custom Theme Development: Design and modify bespoke Shopify themes based on project specifications.
- Enhance UX/UI: Work closely with the UI/UX design teams to craft seamless, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces for Shopify stores.
- Shopify Apps & Integrations: Ensure smooth integration with Shopify Apps, marketing tools, and third-party APIs.
- Testing & Debugging: Regularly debug, test, and optimize websites to enhance performance and increase conversion rates.
- Maintain & Update Stores: Modify and update existing Shopify stores to improve functionality or implement new features as per the business needs.
- Customization: Develop and customize Shopify accounts and apps, and provide technical support to ensure site reliability and performance.
Qualification
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong expertise in Shopify and Shopify Plus.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, DOM, CSS3, HTML5, and jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with Storefront API and custom themes.
- Experience with Liquid templating and Shopify’s theming system.
- Ability to debug and implement third-party Shopify apps and provide custom solutions.
- Solid knowledge of jQuery, current JavaScript frameworks, vanilla JavaScript, and ES2015/ES6.
- Experience with Shopify properties (meta fields, AJAX API) and debugging tools.
- Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and Shopify plugins.
- Ability to create responsive designs and layouts optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
