Job Description
As a Sales Manager, you will lead our sales initiatives, build strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing a high-performing sales team, and delivering exceptional results.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand Mavenbird’s market presence.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to exceed targets.
- Monitor performance, provide regular feedback, and implement training initiatives to enhance team productivity.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Pipeline Management:
- Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-ups and closing of deals.
- Accurately forecast sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align sales strategies with business goals.
- Collaborate with the presales team to create customized proposals and presentations.
- Market Analysis:
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities and threats.
- Provide insights and recommendations to refine sales strategies.
Qualification
- Experience:
- Proven track record in sales, with at least 5+ years in a managerial role, preferably in the IT or e-commerce industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Skills:
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating sales teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales performance tracking software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge:
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, digital marketing solutions, or software services is a plus.
- Understanding of the sales lifecycle and consultative selling techniques.
