Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Magento 2 Developer with hands-on experience in designing, developing, and implementing solutions for Magento 2 platforms. As a Magento Developer, you will work closely with our team to create and optimize high-performance eCommerce solutions, ensuring the integration of Magento with external systems and third-party services. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Magento 2’s architecture, development best practices, and a keen eye for web design trends.
This is a full-time role, which can be performed either remotely or from our office, depending on your preference.
Responsibilities
- Magento Development: Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2.0-based eCommerce platforms, ensuring they are high-performing, secure, and scalable.
- Extension Development: Develop, customize, and integrate Magento 2 extensions to meet business requirements.
- Integration: Integrate Magento with third-party systems like CMS, CRM, ERP, payment gateways, shipping providers, etc.
- Magento Configuration: Implement Magento configurations, including theme components (layout, block, template), and optimize system configurations for performance and scalability.
- Code Quality: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and Magento coding standards.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with front-end developers, designers, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Bug Fixing & Optimization: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, compatibility, and system functionality.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and configurations.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Applications, or related field (BCA, MCA).
- 1+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development.
- Strong understanding of Magento 2 architecture and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of PHP, Zend Framework, and Magento development tools.
- Experience in Magento Extension development and customizing the Magento platform.
- Experience with integrating Magento with external systems such as CMS, CRM, ERP, payment gateways, and shipping systems.
- Familiarity with design patterns used in Magento 2.
- Strong knowledge of Magento theme components: layout, blocks, templates, etc.
- Ability to configure Magento instances for optimal performance and scalability.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
