Are you an experienced Magento Developer passionate about delivering exceptional digital solutions? Join our dynamic team at Mavenbird Technologies as a Senior Magento Developer, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping cutting-edge e-commerce platforms and mentoring the next generation of developers.
Responsibilities
- Magento 2 Development: Extensive experience in building and enhancing applications within the Magento 2 framework, adhering to best practices and technical standards.
- Team Building: Participate in recruiting and assessing junior team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
- Mentorship & Wellbeing: Provide support and guidance to trainees and junior developers, ensuring a positive and nurturing team atmosphere.
- Engineering Excellence: Advocate for and promote good engineering practices, maintaining a strong focus on quality and scalability.
- Requirement Analysis: Translate business requirements into functional and technical solutions for complex, large-scale projects.
- Architecture & Integration: Define architectural strategies and oversee integrations with third-party applications (e.g., fulfillment, PIM, payment systems).
- Development Expertise: Estimate features, write, test, and deploy clean, efficient code, ensuring compatibility with Magento architecture and future roadmaps.
- Code Review & Testing: Champion unit testing and perform thorough reviews to maintain high-quality code.
- Mentorship & Training: Mentor team members, provide training, and offer performance feedback to promote continuous learning and improvement.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement technical and process enhancements to optimize the development lifecycle.
Qualification
- Professional Attributes: Talented, diligent, focused, and enthusiastic team players who value collaboration and continuous learning.
- Magento Expertise: Proven experience in Adobe Commerce/Cloud, module development, and customization adhering to technical guidelines.
- Technical Mastery:
- Object-Oriented PHP development (10+ years)
- Proficiency in integrating Magento with third-party applications (fulfillment, PIM, payment systems).
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other front-end technologies.
- Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP (LAMP stack), nginx, Docker, AWS, and debugging tools like Xdebug and New Relic.
- Development Practices: Knowledge of software delivery lifecycle methodologies, Continuous Integration, Agile practices, and best practices for code quality.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in mentoring and guiding teams, conducting code reviews, and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, planning, and work prioritization abilities.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Previous experience in headless development and open-source projects.
- Strong relational database management skills.
- Expertise with Zend MVC Framework.
- Adobe Commerce Expert Certification.
