Job Description
As a Sales Lead Generator, you will own the front end of the sales funnel by sourcing prospects, initiating contact, and qualifying leads to meet defined criteria. This role emphasizes consistent outreach (phone, email, LinkedIn), accurate lead data capture, and timely handoff to closers. The position offers a supportive environment with coaching and clear KPIs to develop your sales skills and progress into quota-carrying roles.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective customers using online tools and databases
- Conduct outbound outreach via cold calls, email campaigns, and LinkedIn messaging
- Qualify leads against predefined criteria and book meetings for sales executives
- Maintain and update lead data in the CRM (ensure accuracy and hygiene)
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and target lists
- Track outreach metrics and report on pipeline generation and conversion rates
- Follow up persistently to move prospects through early-stage funnel
Required Skills & Experience
- 1 year of experience in lead generation, sales development, or telemarketing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and lead management
- Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume outreach
- Good research skills and attention to data accuracy
- Basic proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets for tracking outreach
- Motivated, coachable, and target-driven with a collaborative mindset
